The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has officially announced the online registration for admission of Online and Distance Learning (ODL) courses for the July 2025 session. Students can apply for these courses by browsing the official admission portal – ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. The last date to submit the admission applications is July 15, 2025. Students that are willing to take admission in online courses, registration for them should be done separately at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in. DEB ID Mandatory for IGNOU Admissions 2025
Students applying for IGNOU’s online or distance learning courses, there is an important update for them . The University Grants Commission (UGC) now requires all applicants to register with a unique Distance Education Bureau (DEB) ID before submitting their admission forms at IGNOU . This registration ensures that your enrolment number is officially recognized by Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) all over India. Steps to Create a DEB ID
Follow the below simple steps to complete the registration process of DEB ID Generate an Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID from official website – This is the first step before creating or a DEB ID. Register for the DEB ID – Once your ABC ID is ready, proceed to generate your DEB ID. Enter Required Details – Fill in your personal information, including mobile number and email address, as per the instructions. Submit the registration Form – After verifying details, submit the application form to generate DEB ID. If student face any difficulties or issues during registration, You contact to your nearest IGNOU Regional Centre or Study Centre for assistance.
IGNOU June 2025 TEE Admit Cards
The IGNOU university has Published the admit cards for the June 2025 Term-End Examinations (TEE). Students appearing for the term end june examination in July 2025, should download their admit cards from the IGNOU websites – ignou.ac.in or ignou.samarth.edu.in.
